You can't photograph if you don't connect with the place first. You need to be invisible with the camera, but you also need to be familiar with the culture. A good photograph is a mixtures of constants and variables. You have control over the constants, frame, background, main subject etc, and then you search for the variables that are the ones that will transform your photo and make it become something more than a documentary shot.

I came to photography late. I studied computer science in Athens and mobile engineering in Copenhagen, and today I also run Lemonroot, a software, ai engineering and product studio. Before any of that, there was dance — touring Europe with Artisstep, and teaching seminars around the world. Nothing is a straight line. Everything taught me the same thing: to observe, and to pay attention to detail.
