End of the World — Ushguli, Georgia

High in the Caucasus mountains, the medieval stone towers of Ushguli rise as guardians against time. At the foot of Mount Shkhara, life remains tethered to the land and livestock even today. This series documents one of Europe's highest settlements, where ancient defensive architecture meets the slow creep of modern tourism.
