At a viewpoint above Pokhara, the Annapurna massif catches the last of the day's light. Below it, on a green astroturf deck, children play — entirely indifferent to the peaks behind them. A boy with a paper party-blower stares into the camera; a smaller child watches through the railing. The view that brings travelers thousands of miles is, for them, simply the wall of an afternoon. The sublime and the ordinary share the frame, and only the children know which one matters.
Captured with Fujifilm X-T5 and Fujinon 23mm f/1.4 lens.
